This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring proper handling, recycling, and disposal of e-waste in compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

• Promote safe and environmentally responsible disposal of electronic products.

• Encourage customers and vendors to return end-of-life electronic items for proper recycling.

• Comply with applicable legal and environmental standards.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) sold or distributed through the Nirwan Fintech platform, including but not limited to:

• Mobile phones

• Laptops, desktops, and peripherals

• Consumer electronics

• Batteries and chargers

• Other related accessories

3. Responsibilities

For Consumers:

• Customers are encouraged to return their used electronic products to authorized e-waste collection centers or recyclers.

• Do not dispose of e-waste with regular household waste. Improper disposal can be hazardous to health and the environment.

For Sellers and Partners:

• Sellers must ensure compliance with e-waste regulations and take back end-of-life products as per Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) norms.

• Provide clear instructions on e-waste handling and disposal with applicable products.

4. Collection & Recycling

We work in collaboration with government-authorized e-waste recyclers and collection agencies. Users may contact our support team to get information about the nearest authorized e-waste collection centers.

5. Environmental Impact

E-waste contains harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, which can pollute the environment and affect human health if not properly handled. Recycling helps recover valuable materials and reduces the burden on landfills.

6. Compliance

NIRWAN FINTECH SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED adheres to all applicable environmental laws, including:

• The E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016
